Avoid Direct Competition
I had this idea for drawing some really cute zergs, but while I was drawing it, I noticed that the reddit SC community was raving about Carbot’s awesome Starcrafts animations, particularly on how cute everything was. I didn’t want to do something that seemed like a rip off, and anyway, it’s nice to work on a different direction anyway.
I wanted to experiment with putting fur and blubber on Zerg units. This turned out pretty okay.
